Inspiration and Education for Better Living
Not at all. In fact, 85% of our students attend class without a dance partner. As long as you are pre-registered, we can ensure that the numbers of ladies and gents are as even as possible.
We have a $10 first time, first class offer. We believe it is a wonderful idea to Try our classes before you commit to the term. Checkout our “Try Before You Buy Policy”. This first-time offer is available for all new individuals to the dance academy. When you decide to join a course, we deduct the $10 from the total regular course price.
Being comfortable is key. You don’t need Latin dance shoes to start dancing 🙂 Try to avoid rubbery or grippy soles and go for shoes with flat soles as these are ideal for turning with ease. Loose clothing or gym wear is also great for class. Be comfortable and be yourself 🙂
We operate from a few different locations so it is best to double-check the location next to the name of the class you are attending.
Our venues are:
Quany’s Gym: 104 Norman Street, East Brisbane
Smug Fig: 999 Stanley Street, East Brisbane
Bulimba Seniors: 1 Barramul Street, Bulimba

90% of our courses are progressive over each term.
What you learn in one week will be a base for moves in a class the following week. We always do some revision each class to solidify and strengthen what was learnt in previous classes.
Some classes such as Salsaton, Cubaton, Caribbean Moves are not progressive but rather each class has something new and not necessarily drawing from material from the class in the previous week.

We understand life happens and sometimes you can’t attend your regular class. If you notify us via email at email@example.com PRIOR to class that you are unable to attend, you may then “makeup” your missed class WITHIN the running term. In your email, advise which class you would like to take up for your missed class. If you do not advise us that you will not be attending, your attendance will be marked as “class forfeited” and you will not be able to redeem this class.
